Terms and Conditions
1. Purpose
These Terms & Conditions govern booking and participation in retreats organized under the brand AITANA – Luminous Retreats.
Any booking implies full acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
2. Nature of the Retreats
Aitana retreats include gentle well-being activities, cultural experiences and shared moments.
They do not constitute medical, paramedical or therapeutic services and do not replace medical or psychological care.
Each participant is responsible for ensuring that her health condition allows her to take part in the proposed activities.
3. Booking Process
The booking process includes:
1. Website request
2. Personal exchange and confirmation
3. Written confirmation
4. Payment of deposit
The booking becomes final upon receipt of the deposit.
4. Payment Terms
A 30% deposit is due upon confirmation.
The balance is payable no later than 60 days before the retreat.
For bookings made less than 60 days before the retreat, full payment is required upon confirmation.
5. Cancellation by Participant
In case of cancellation:
- More than 60 days before the retreat start date: full refund of the deposit.
- Between 30 and 59 days before the retreat start date: 50% of the deposit is retained.
- Less than 30 days before the retreat start date: the deposit is non-refundable and the full amount remains due.
Participants are encouraged to obtain cancellation insurance.
6. Cancellation by the Organizer
If the retreat is cancelled by the Organizer, all payments will be refunded.
The Organizer may cancel in case of insufficient participants or force majeure.
No additional compensation may be claimed.
The Organizer shall not be held liable for any indirect consequences resulting from such cancellation.
7. Force Majeure
Force majeure refers to unforeseeable and unavoidable events preventing the retreat, such as natural disasters, health-related events, conflicts, travel restrictions or other exceptional circumstances.
Payments will be refunded without further compensation.
Transportation and personal expenses cannot be reimbursed.
8. Participants’ Insurance
Each participant is responsible for adequate insurance coverage, including health, accident, repatriation and cancellation insurance.
Participants are advised to verify their coverage prior to departure.
9. External Service Providers
Certain services may be provided by independent external providers, including transportation, guided activities or catering services.
These providers operate under their own professional responsibility and hold their own insurance coverage.
The Organizer selects partners with care.
10. Responsibility and Conduct
Each participant remains responsible for her physical condition and takes part in the activities at her own risk.
The activities offered are gentle well-being activities.
Participants agree to behave respectfully at all times.
The Organizer reserves the right to exclude any person whose behavior compromises the smooth runnning of the retreat, without refund.
11. Services Not Included
Transportation costs (including flights to Malaga) and personal expenses are not included, unless otherwise stated.
12. Personal Data
Personal data is processed in accordance with Swiss law and the GDPR, as described in the Privacy Policy available on the website.
13. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by Swiss law.
The place of jurisdiction is Geneva, Switzerland.
In the event of dispute, the parties shall seek an amicable resolution before initiating any legal proceedings.
